What has the bigger impact on our community: Gun Violence or Music?
Join us as REVIVE RADIO presents the premiere of, “The NotePad”, a musical documentary that highlights gun violence through music and freestyle.
This musical documentary was recorded on June 24, 2021.
Many may not know that June is both Black Music Month and Gun Violence Awareness Month.
Right now the city of Philadelphia is in pain with all the violence and gun violence going on in our streets here in the city. So with this mini-musical documentary, we celebrate black music month and pay tribute to all the families and friends who have lost loved ones due to gun violence and violence. With music from artists born and raised here in Philadelphia, speaking the truth and pain through music.
After we play the short musical documentary we would like to open the floor up for a safe open space conversation.
Every artist that is a part of this musical documentary will get a chance to introduce themselves to the audience, tell the audience more about themselves, and speak on how music can truly impact gun violence.
