Philadelphia Resource List: Food, Utilities, Housing, Legal Help & Community Care

In moments when our communities need information the most, Revive Media is committed to providing real resources, real support, and real solutions. We created a Philadelphia Resource List to make sure families, elders, youth, and everyday residents can access help with food, utility bills, housing support, mental health services, legal aid, and community advocacy.

Across the city, many grassroots and neighborhood-based organizations are stepping up to fill the gaps. Whether it’s a free hot meal, emergency groceries, help keeping the lights on, or guidance navigating reentry and legal issues, these groups are serving Philly with love, information, and consistency.

This resource list includes:

FOOD ASSISTANCE

24/7 community fridges and the Share Food Program make it possible for families to access groceries, fresh produce, cooked meals, and emergency pantry boxes across the city.

UTILITY ASSISTANCE

Programs offering real financial relief, shutoff protection, and bill forgiveness options.

HOUSING & CRISIS SUPPORT

Shelter services, tenant support, emergency repairs, and unhoused assistance.

MENTAL HEALTH & COMMUNITY WELLNESS

Organizations providing therapy, wellness kits, and emotional support to individuals and families.

LEGAL + REENTRY SUPPORT

Offering guidance on record clearing, reentry, benefits, and family support.

This is your one stop resource guide to stay informed and get connected to what you need today.

This resource list is part of Revive Radio + Media’s Every Voice, Every Vote initiative, focused on civic access, community care, and informed participation. We report on the systems that shape daily life because access to housing, utilities, food, and legal support directly impacts people’s ability to engage, organize, and vote. When communities are resourced and informed, they are empowered, and that is where real civic power begins!
