On July 13th, 2024, the inaugural Philly Youth Music Fest took place at Venice Island. The event showcased the exceptional talents of Philadelphia’s youth. From 12 PM to 6 PM, it buzzed with energy, creativity, and community spirit, making it a memorable day for all who attended.
REVIVE MEDIA had the honor of producing a youth-led media activation at the festival. This unique collaboration included a live-streaming podcast that featured talented teens and young adults interviewing extraordinary artists, nonprofit leaders, dancers, and influencers. The production provided a platform for young voices to engage with prominent figures in the arts and community sectors, offering insights into their journeys and the impact of their work.

The event was a vibrant celebration of the city’s young leaders and their artistic contributions. A special shoutout goes to the Blues Babe Foundation for partnering with REVIVE MEDIA, allowing us to participate in this fantastic experience. Beyond the Bars’ collaboration also played a crucial role in making this event a success, as they provided logistical support, including bussing from North and West Philadelphia. This ensured that young people across the city could attend and participate in the festival without transportation barriers.
